Jr. Controls Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Controls Engineer to join a leading automation and engineering solutions team supporting large‑scale industrial and manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career engineer looking to grow hands‑on experience in controls, automation, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, programming, and troubleshooting of industrial automation systems
• Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs under senior engineer guidance
• Support commissioning, testing, and startup activities for new equipment and upgrades
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project execution
• Provide on‑site technical support and help diagnose system or equipment issues
• Prepare documentation including wiring diagrams, control schematics, and system layouts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with PLC logic, ladder diagrams, and automation principles
• Exposure to industrial control systems (Allen-Bradley/Siemens a plus)
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
