Location: Nebraska and surrounding service areas

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Lineman to join a growing team dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality electrical services. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who takes pride in working safely, efficiently, and delivering quality craftsmanship in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground distribution systems
• Troubleshoot electrical distribution issues and assist in implementing effective solutions
• Operate line equipment, tools, and heavy machinery safely and effectively
• Assist with storm restoration and emergency outage response work as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, staking sheets, and technical documents
• Work closely with crews, project managers, and field leadership to complete projects safely and on schedule
• Maintain compliance with all company safety standards and procedures
• Support and assist apprentices or less-experienced crew members when needed

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Lineman certification
• Strong knowledge of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems
• Experience working in utility construction, maintenance, or distribution environments
• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments
• Capable of lifting heavy equipment and performing strenuous tasks
