Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hospitalist Physician at Jupiter Medical Center located in Jupiter, FL. The Hospitalist Physician will provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, including initial assessments, treatment planning, daily rounds, and specialist consultations as needed. Additional responsibilities include working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary care team, managing patient transitions from admission to discharge, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care is delivered. The role operates on a 7 on/7 off schedule, providing a balance between professional and personal life.
Our hospital is seeking an experienced hospitalist (2+ years) to join our employed team in Jupiter, FL, an affluent coastal community in Palm Beach County..
Jupiter Medical Center is the only 4-star CMS hospital and A-rated Leapfrog hospital in our region. We employ our hospitalist group, that is made up of 12 physicians and 2 APPs currently. (5 daytimers per week and 1 APP per week, 1 nocturnist physician with an APP at night).
We strive to have our physicians round on 15-20 pts per day. We have 340 beds and see a census of about 80-100 per day. We have very high quality metrics and seek an experienced physician to round out our group.
We use EPIC as our EHR. No procedures, we have a 24/7 intensivist group in-house.
