Jira Administrator
Optomi, in partnership with a leading entertainment company, is seeking a Jira Administrator to work within the digital experience and commerce technology space.
This role will support a growing Commerce organization by managing, configuring, and optimizing Jira across a wide range of technical and business initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has both strong Jira administration expertise and a project/program mindset, with the ability to support governance, reporting, workflow optimization, and cross-functional team collaboration.
The right person will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment supporting digital initiatives that impact large-scale customer and guest experiences across multiple business lines.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Jira Administrator
- Strong hands-on experience using Jira in a Project Manager, Program Coordinator, or similar delivery-focused role
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project delivery principles
- Expertise in Jira administration and configuration, including workflows, permissions, custom fields, boards, dashboards, and project setup
- Experience supporting both Jira Server and Jira Cloud environments
- Experience with Jira plugins, integrations, and governance
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and user support skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Jira governance and enterprise-level administration experience
- Experience building and maintaining executive-level dashboards, KPI tracking, and delivery reporting
- Exposure to or experience with AI Agentics development
- Experience supporting complex technical initiatives, including cloud migrations
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled analytics, reporting tools, or workflow insights
- Strong collaboration, coaching, and cross-team coordination experience
- Experience with Confluence administration and documentation support
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and support the Jira platform across multiple teams and initiatives
- Create and maintain Jira projects, workflows, schemes, permissions, issue types, custom fields, automations, and dashboards
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business and project needs and translate them into Jira solutions
- Monitor Jira usage, platform health, and governance to ensure consistency and best practices across teams
- Troubleshoot Jira issues and provide day-to-day user support
- Develop reporting and dashboards to provide insights into project progress, delivery health, team performance, and overall usage
- Support platform enhancements and integrations to improve functionality and user experience
- Provide Jira training, coaching, and best practice guidance to users and project teams
- Maintain documentation for Jira configurations, workflows, standards, and support processes
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to continuously improve Jira adoption and effectiveness
