Executive Summary: JDE HCM Business Consultant will serve as a critical architect and functional lead for the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Human Capital Management suite. This role is designed for a subject matter expert who can bridge the gap between complex human resources business requirements and technical system execution. The successful candidate will drive the optimization of Payroll, Benefits, and Integration strategies, ensuring the JDE ecosystem supports the organization’s long-term scalability and operational excellence.


Core Competencies: To ensure success in this high-impact position, the following technical proficiencies are mandatory:

  • JDE EnterpriseOne HCM: Advanced functional knowledge of Payroll, Human Resources, and Time & Labor.
  • Benefits Administration: Expert-level configuration of Employee Benefits and Self-Service (ESS) modules.
  • JDE Finance Integration: Seamless alignment between HCM modules and General Ledger (GL)/Accounts Payable (AP) frameworks.
  • System Integration: Proven ability to manage data mapping and interfaces between JDE and third-party auxiliary systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Functional Leadership: Lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of JDE HCM modules, specifically focusing on EnterpriseOne versioning and advanced setups.
  • Business Analysis: Translate complex HR and Payroll business requirements into detailed functional specifications, ensuring system logic aligns with corporate governance.
  • System Configuration: Manage the architectural setup of Employee Self-Service, Benefits Administration, and Payroll processing cycles to ensure 100% accuracy in data integrity.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Oversee the technical touchpoints between HCM and Finance modules, ensuring robust financial reporting and reconciliation capabilities.
  • Process Optimization: Conduct regular system audits to identify bottlenecks in Time & Labor or Payroll workflows and implement high-efficiency automated solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between HR leadership and the IT technical team to ensure project milestones meet executive standards.


Technical Depth & Regulatory Standards:

  • Version Expertise: In-depth experience with JDE EnterpriseOne 9.2 (or recent E1 iterations).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all HCM configurations adhere to federal and state labor laws, including FLSA standards and ACA reporting requirements.
  • Data Security: Maintain strict adherence to PII (Personally Identifiable Information) protection protocols and SOC/Audit compliance for payroll data handling.


Application Requirements:

  • Location Mobility: This position is based in Thornton, CO, operating on a hybrid schedule. Candidates must currently reside in the local area or provide a confirmed relocation plan.
  • Experience: A minimum of 14 years of progressive experience within the JD Edwards ecosystem is required to meet the demands of this senior-level consultancy.
