Job Description
D505 janitors duties and responsibilities consist of but are not limited to, emptying of trash receptacles, cleaning of bathrooms, stocking of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and sanitary napkin dispensers, sweeping and mopping of floors, vacuuming, flooring projects, clean-up of blood-borne pathogens and HWM, carpet extraction operations, dusting, placement of sandbags in flood prone areas, flood restorations, cleaning of litter, emptying of cigarette but containers, working with cleaning chemicals, NPPI shredding operations, weed whacking, sanitizing and disinfecting, working in buildings with noelevators having to use stairs to use and being essential personnel for snow and deicing operations.
