J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Product Strategy Vice President will report into the Digital Product Strategy function of Wealth Plan, a new omni-channel wealth planning platform that will help clients manage their end-to-end finances online or with an advisor, and work on multiple initiatives critical to the successful design, development, and ongoing execution of a multifaceted product experience. They should be highly entrepreneurial in nature with both an affinity for strategy, and a proven record of effective implementation

You will work as part of small project teams in solving complex problems critical to the company. The group functions as an internal digital strategy group and works on a workstream basis, addressing topics at the top of senior management agendas and at the forefront of the industry. All workstreams will be under Wealth Plan and could focus on collaboration with product, technology, marketing, research, design, finance, legal/risk/compliance, field management, etc. teams and senior leaders

Job Responsibilities

  • Structure and build quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analyses
  • Direct strategic thinking and approach, quickly identifying most critical aspects of problem and most appropriate structure on individual engagements
  • Prepare materials for meetings with senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Maintain keen awareness of industry landscape to a leadership role in generating new, innovative ideas and staying abreast of market trends
  • Perform competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources
  • Identify implications of data and analysis with the team
  • Support cross-product prioritization and highlight potential risks in the proper venues
  • Enable omnichannel roll-out and feedback collection for both client and advisor

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5-10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity / venture capital, digital, or similar roles
  • Deliver a seamless Wealth Plan customer and advisor experience; collaborate with, and address gaps across key stakeholders in product, tech, marketing, research, design, finance, legal/risk/compliance, etc., to ensure a unified product vision
  • Proven ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions
  • Act as thought leader on the product strategy and execution; maintain keen awareness of industry landscape to a leadership role in generating new, innovative ideas and staying abreast of market trends
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills - ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
