The Product and Client Solutions team, reporting to the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management CEO, develops industry-leading solutions that enable wealth management clients to live their lives with financial confidence through connected experiences. The team is charged with creating a fully integrated, elegant and seamless end-to-end experience for clients across the Aspiring Affluent, Established, and High Net Worth client segments. We build the strategic vision and lead the development of product and solutions, including advice, planning and digital solutions, lending and retirement products, and best-in-class experiences for all clients.

The Corporate Retirement Plan Solutions Associate will be part of the Retirement Experience team with a focus on the development and support of the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Corporate Retirement product suite, providing qualified employer-sponsored retirement plan solutions to business owners. The team is responsible for end-to-end product management, including but not limited to driving product strategy, understanding the user journey and client experience, defining relevant advisor and branch operating models, and developing innovative technology solutions for these product offerings.

As an integral member of the team, you will primarily be involved in the strategy, design and integration of new qualified employer-sponsored retirement plan product launches and product features. You will also be a critical part of day-to-day execution of strategy and go-to-market efforts, working with a cross-functional and cross-LOB team, contributing thought leadership to efforts as well.

This position would be most suitable for a candidate who is a structured, highly-organized individual with a comprehensive project management approach and who can flexibly adapt to a fast paced environment. You should also have significant familiarity with qualified employer-sponsored retirement plans and their regulatory requirements, as well as superior analytical skills. You should have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, be strong at communicating in written and oral form, and have experience being part of strategic initiatives across teams and partners. You should be passionate about retirement products, wealth management, and digital solutions. Successful candidates will be expected to move up the learning curve quickly and contribute effectively to a fast-moving agenda.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance the qualified employer-sponsored retirement plan product offering
  • Work closely with business, design, research, technology, and operations teams to develop a cohesive client and advisor journey.
  • Develop and manage projects though strategy development, product definition and agile implementation
  • Provide clear vision and documentation, including use cases, product requirements, and high-level wire frames to support UX design, tech development, and operations support
  • Support development of strategy and go-to-market approach and play an important role in identifying activities to ensure a seamless rollout.
  • Define detailed plans to position, communicate and launch new offerings to customers, advisors and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify new qualified employer-sponsored retirement plan product capabilities and features through detailed analysis that takes into account client/advisor demand and market opportunity

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Digital, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services or strategy consulting, preferably within wealth management
  • Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and developers to deliver client-friendly products and user experiences
  • Experience as software or digital product manager, business analyst or equivalent with experience working within an agile/scrum development process
  • Exceptional communication skills; must be a team player and be able to collaborate effectively across all levels
  • Experience in large-scale project planning and product management
  • Advanced data analytics, Excel, PowerPoint and problem solving skills
