As a Self-Directed Investing Product owner you will be responsible for optimizing the outcomes specifically for the Self-Directed business related to conversion, quality of new clients, the relationship we build with clients both digitally and leveraging our services teams during the first 90 days, and client satisfaction
JPMWM sits within CCB and is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals. There are four major channels: Chase Wealth Management, J.P. Morgan Advisors, J.P. Morgan Online Investing, our digital investing platform, and J.P. Morgan Personal Advisors, our newly built remote advice channel. The business operates in a highly dynamic environment, given the rapid evolution of client behavior, regulatory changes and tight partnership with other CCB businesses.
You will play a critical role is creating product strategy, execution and delivery of experiences through direct and indirect resources. Through the experiences your team creates and manages, you will create a holistic experience that differentiates the offering in the marketplace and creates client engagement, establishes loyalty to our platform, and ultimately enables growth for the self-directed investing business. Scope for the experience that you and partner teams will manage and deliver includes web, mobile, various acquisition modes, and customer service via phone and digital channels. As a leader you will cultivate strong partnerships, serve as an advocate of the Self-Directed Investing priorities throughout the firm, be energized by the opportunities upon us and embody an entrepreneurial spirit with perpetually curiosity at the core. You will report directly to the head of Self-Directed Investing Business.
Job responsibilities
- Serve as a cross-functional leader to lead optimization for our Self-Directed Investing Prospects partnering with Channels, Marketing, Account Opening and Investment Funding
- Actively monitor and manage analytics of our funnel for prioritization and value opportunities
- Support and optimize process and digital enhancements to support our business growth objectives spanning various acquisition channel opportunities
- Serve as the point and sponsor for Self-Directed Investing content strategy
- Engage closely with stakeholders to ensure the roadmap meets business and consumer needs, and delivers against OKRs
- Establish a new feature framework to optimize awareness, adoption and education for our clients
- Create new experiences using discovery processes, and experimentation, informed by customer insights and data
- Provide clear vision and scope documentation, workflows, detailed business requirements, use cases and other materials as needed to support UX design, development and infrastructure
- Manage stakeholder communications to ensure business needs are met, set and manage expectations through effective written and oral communication
- Track and analyze metrics to measure OKR progress and industry benchmarks
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5-10 years of investments related product management experience with proven track record of delivery of new products and features
- Proven track record of shipping value to customers
- Strong background in Product Development and Product Management
- Proven ability to distill complex ideas into consumable and actionable materials
- Experience analyzing, communicating and executing against complex business initiatives
- Ability to influence and partner effectively across a global organization
- Demonstrated track record of adapting to a rapidly changing business environment, ability to quickly assess situations, act decisively and capitalize on change
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience authoring business requirements, defining user stories and leading execution including bringing together cross functional teams within an Agile development framework
- Industry involvement - staying abreast of industry trends and issues
- Highly collaborative - history of delivering results with and through organizational partnership as a trusted team member
- Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under intense pressure
