IT Technician

Position: IT Technician (Overnights)

Compensation: $25/hour

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to find a skilled IT Technician to join their overnight team (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).

This exciting opportunity is for an IT Technician to work onsite, ensuring the reliability and security of enterprise systems. The role is essential for maintaining grid reliability and protecting assets through proactive monitoring and incident management. You will be the first point of contact for event management, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve incidents. This position offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Monitor IT systems to identify service-impacting events
• Analyze and resolve incidents using diagnostic tools
• Coordinate with teams to resolve incidents and correct problems
• Perform network troubleshooting and maintenance
• Coordinate planned outages with service providers
• Manage security alerts and executive call lists
• Conduct security investigations and dispatch investigators
• Maintain logs and incident records according to protocols
• Provide after-hours support for Service Desk calls
• Support testing and calibration of monitoring tools

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3 years related experience or equivalent certifications
• Strong event and incident management skills
• Technical knowledge of network and communications infrastructure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of IBM Tivoli Netcool and BMC Remedy
• Experience with card access and visitor management systems
• Understanding of NERC regulations
