GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The IT SOX Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that ChemTreat’s in-scope systems comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) regulations. Leads and manages the IT SOX daily, weekly monthly, quarterly and annual compliance activities ensuring that IT business processes adhere to IT general controls (ITGC).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively leads and participates in all IT SOX compliance activities (e.g. walkthroughs, audits, etc.)
  • Reviews and understands the IT SOX Workbook, ensuring applicable ITGCs are implemented and maintained
  • Documents and maintains SOX policies and procedures
  • Stays abreast of in-scope system functionality
  • Performs periodic (e.g. daily, weekly, etc.) businesses processes to validate ITGCs are adhered to and drives remediation activities
  • Thoroughly documents the proof that ITGCs, policies and procedures are followed, delivering SOX Electronic Audit Evidence (EAE)
  • Collaborates with auditors (internal and external) and prepares the IT team and business stakeholders for control testing, walkthroughs and audit activities
  • Supports SOX testing, walkthrough and audit activities by preparing reports and responding to Document Request Lists (DRL) and providing EAE
  • Participates in audit finding reviews and provides remediation support (e.g. document meeting outcomes, schedules meetings, etc.)
  • Assess potential risks and control gaps based on an understanding of the control environment and to limit the identification of control deficiencies
  • Stays abreast of SOX regulations changes and industry best practices
  • With supervision, manages IT projects through the entire project lifecycle
  • Deliver detailed action and project plans
  • Plan, monitor, and report progress
  • Provide accurate and timely project status reports
  • Manage and communicate risks, issues, changes, and action items

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Science degree in IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) experience
  • 4+ years Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in IT compliance and audit performance
  • Finance and Dynamics 365 (F&O) experience a plus
  • MS 365 experience (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint and Excel)

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $115,000 USD per year.
