Required Skills & Experience
• High school diploma/GED and 1–3 years of experience in IT support, asset management, inventory coordination, or similar operations role (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
• Experience coordinating purchasing workflows and communicating with vendors/suppliers.
• Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, formulas, charts, vlook ups, Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple requests/tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-service mindset and clear written/verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of IT hardware lifecycle concepts (receiving, staging, deployment, refresh/EOL, and returns).
• Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office and Excel); comfort learning ticketing/asset tracking systems.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• Relevant certification (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Administrator or similar endpoint/device management credential).
• Experience running a loaner/quick-exchange program and front-desk logistics.
• Experience with enterprise asset management tools and inventory audits/reconciliations across multiple locations.
• Familiarity with basic process documentation and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience with Visio or similar process
Job Description
We are looking for an IT Service Coordinator. They will be responsible for coordinating IT asset and service operations across the full hardware/software lifecycle, including request intake/triage, purchasing and vendor coordination, receiving, inventory control, and distribution of equipment/loaners. Ensures accurate tracking and documentation, supports support-desk logistics, and helps optimize cost, availability, and service timeliness.
