Arjo’s IT Security Manager leads cybersecurity operations and information security initiatives across the US. This role serves as the primary regional contact for Arjo’s Global Information Security Program, ensuring effective security operations, incident response, risk management, and compliance in a regulated environment. You will partner with global and regional IT teams, business stakeholders, and third‑party providers to support security across cloud, SaaS, hosted, and on‑premises platforms, aligning security controls with business objectives and risk tolerance.

This position is based in Arjo’s US Corporate Office in Hoffman Estates, IL. (work-from-home Mon/Wed/Fri…in the office Tu/Th)

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Oversee day‑to‑day security operations, service requests, and incident response.
  • Coordinate and resolve cybersecurity incidents and risks with internal teams and vendors.
  • Own and optimize security tools, processes, and documentation.
  • Support compliance efforts (e.g., SOC, ISO) and execution of global security policies.
  • Lead security awareness, training, and cross‑functional collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field. Master’s degree in Cybersecurity preferred.
  • 5+ years of leading cybersecurity programs/functions across regulated organizations.
  • 5+ years’ experience installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing networked computers.
  • Experience operating in a global organization with regional or multi-country responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud and On-prem security principles, infrastructure and application hardening, and third-party and SaaS risk management.
  • Experience leading or supporting compliance audits such as SOC 2 and ISO.
  • 10-15% travel, including international travel.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written, presentation.
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Outlook and Office products.
  • Professional certifications preferred (e.g. CISSP or CISM)
