IT Purchasing Specialist

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an IT Purchasing Specialist to support the IT Purchasing department by processing equipment and software requests. This role will receive procurement requests through ServiceNow, validate approved products and purchasing strategies, and enter requisitions into Workday. The ideal candidate can work independently, manage multiple requests, and consistently meet internal customer requirements in a fast‑paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
• Experience with sourcing, buying, and requisition entry
• Hands-on experience using procurement ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice, etc.)
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet customer requirements

Compensation

$19 per hour.
