Contract: 12 + months

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager IV to lead a portfolio of complex IT and Operational Technology (OT) projects supporting Gas Transmission and Midstream operations. This role is responsible for managing large-scale, multi-year initiatives across the full technology stack, ensuring successful delivery through strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to project management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex IT and OT projects valued at up to multimillion dollars
• Lead projects across all PMBOK knowledge areas, ensuring effective control of scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Deliver projects using Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies, as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with PMO standards, processes, and documentation requirements
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics
• Drive change management processes to ensure smooth system deployment and integration
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions and project requirements
• Prepare and present status reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating when necessary
• Review and approve project deliverables to ensure quality and compliance
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyze project performance metrics to identify efficiency opportunities
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and compliance standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, OT, business units, and external vendors

Scope of Role

• Manage multiple concurrent projects with durations ranging from 1 to 3 years
• Work within a matrixed organization, coordinating across IT and OT teams
• Oversee projects spanning the entire technology stack, including infrastructure, applications, and user experience

Work Environment

• Hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite in Houston, TX)
• Fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
• Occasional travel may be required
• Availability for off-hours support during critical project phases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• (Equivalent experience or technical certifications may be considered)
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience
• Strong experience managing IT and OT projects
• Proven expertise in:
• Data centers and infrastructure
• Network systems
• Application development
• Control systems / OT environments
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• Experience in Gas Transmission, Midstream, or Energy sector
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles in IT/OT environments
