Position Overview/Responsibilities for the IT Project Manager:

  • Manage and coordinate projects of varying sizes and complexities, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive project management oversight throughout the entire project and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Collaborate effectively with business leads, vendor project managers, business analysts, and technical subject matter experts.
  • Lead project initiation and planning, including scope development, risk assessment, and performance tracking.
  • Monitor project execution, track milestones, and report on status, risks, and issues to leadership.

Required Skills for IT Project Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent specialized training.
  • PMP certification (PMI) or equivalent certification is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a focus on moderate to high complexity projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, SharePoint 2013, and Microsoft O365.
  • Strong experience in managing scope, risks, and change requests in collaboration with vendors and stakeholders.
