Our challenge

We are seeking an IT Administrator to support day-to-day IT operations and ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our technology environment. This role will provide hands-on technical support, assist with system maintenance, and help manage hardware, software, and network resources during the contract period.



Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $80k - $90k/year & benefits (see below).




The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end users (hardware, software, and network issues)
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in accordance with company policies
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
  • Assist with network administration, including basic configuration and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Support software deployments, updates, and patch management
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and support logs
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols and assist with basic cybersecurity measures
  • Collaborate with internal teams or external vendors as needed



Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an IT support or systems administration role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS , Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applications
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and communicate solutions clearly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus



Requirements:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems
  • Basic scripting or automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash)
