About the Role

Responsible for the development and delivery of application-based pre-sales, post-sales and educational activities globally. This role is primarily responsible for sales support, with an emphasis on training in a preclinical environment, providing recommendations for product improvement and potential new products based on feedback from customers in the field and current scientific advancements. This position serves as a liaison between the company and its customers on commercial, preclinical, procedural, educational, and technical matters.


Core Responsibilities

  • Customer Support & Technical Sales: Provide on-site and remote training, product demonstrations, and technical support to drive adoption and ensure customer success.
  • Application Development: Design and execute experiments to develop and showcase our X-ray imaging and irradiation portfolio, including sample preparation, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Technical Consulting: Act as a scientific expert for Sales and Marketing teams, providing detailed analysis, reports, and troubleshooting for customer needs.
  • Product Improvement: Collaborate with internal R&D and manufacturing teams, offering feedback to improve hardware, software, and method development.
  • Research & Communication: Present research findings at scientific conferences, publish reports on new methodologies, and work with customers to develop relevant scientific documents to promote KUBTEC products and technologies.

 

Qualification and skills

·        In-depth understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

·        Strong technical comfort level in preclinical and translational radiation technology.

·        Prior experience as an Applications Scientist supporting X-ray irradiation technology.

·        Demonstrated strong customer interface and communications skills.

·        Willingness to travel (<40%) and work in a global team of professionals.

·        Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

·        Problem solver with a  critical thinking mindset.

 

 Required experience

 

·        Education: A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Oncology, Materials Science, or a related Engineering field.

·        Preclinical Irradiation expertise – 3 Years.
