NaphCare is hiring a Involuntary Medication Coordinatorto join our team of medical professionals in Mt. Meigs, AL., where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Kilby Facility.
This posting is open exclusively to current AL DOC incumbent employees.
As a Involuntary Medication Coordinator, you will assist the licensed pharmacists in providing medications and other healthcare products to in residence ensuring work is performed in compliance to standards and adherence to regulations. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.
Responsibilities
The Involuntary Medication Coordinatorassists in preparing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring proper documentation, often with heightened security measures and reporting requirements due to the correctional setting. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:

Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
