THIS POSITION IS FOR CITY OF SPRINGFIELD EMPLOYEES ONLY.
The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Senior Lab Scientist. This position will perform all assigned chemical, biological, and serological laboratory analyses. Incumbent will be directly Involved in general supervision, education, training, and problem solving for the health department laboratory.

Experience, Education, and Training
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or a related science field;
AND
  • Three years experience working in a laboratory performing analytical work;
AND
  • One year of direct supervisory experience.
PREFERRED
  • Recent experience in a clinical laboratory.

Licensing/Certification
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain proper personal insurance coverage.
