We are looking for:� Internal Medicine� Licensed Veterinary� Technician

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday Days

The Internal Medicine team is constantly working with our internists to provide information to our clients regarding patient care, updates and treatments. This is one department that focuses on relationship building as patient care is longer in duration. If you want to combine your love of animals and clients, this is the department for you!

What� you’ll� do:�

  • Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).�

  • Calculates all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg,� etc).�

  • Induce,� monitor� and recover� patients from� anesthesia�

  • Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.�

  • Set up and� assist� with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).�

  • Patient discharge and client education�

� � Who you are:�

  • State Registered Veterinary Technician license� required�

  • Prior veterinary experience� required,� previous� internal medicine or anesthesia� experience desired�

  • Proficient� in� calculations� (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)�

  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work� additional� hours when necessary�

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment�

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills�
