About the Role

We’re looking for an Internal Loan Officer to manage inbound investor leads, structure deals, and guide borrowers through the lending process from origination to closing.

This is an inside sales role focused on relationship building, deal structuring, and pipeline management. Weston Funding provides inbound opportunities and an existing borrower database so Loan Officers can focus on converting and closing deals.

You’ll work directly with real estate investors across the country while partnering closely with our processing, underwriting, and operations teams to ensure loans close quickly and smoothly.

This role is ideal for junior mortgage professionals looking to grow, candidates with 1–2 years of hard money or investor lending experience, or polished, driven sales professionals familiar with the lending process who want to build a long-term career in private lending.

What You’ll Do

·        Manage inbound leads from initial contact through closing

·        Structure loan scenarios and issue term sheets

·        Build relationships with real estate investors and guide them through the financing process

·        Maintain consistent communication with borrowers regarding deal structure, underwriting feedback, and loan conditions

·        Work closely with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to keep deals moving efficiently

·        Manage and maintain your active pipeline with strong follow-through and attention to detail

·        Build long-term borrower relationships that generate repeat and referral business

·        Handle high daily call activity and maintain responsiveness throughout the loan process

·        Learn and master Weston Funding’s loan products, underwriting approach, and operational process

What We’re Looking For

·        Based in or near Dallas / Addison area (in-office role)

·        Strong communication and relationship-building skills

·        Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

·        Comfortable managing multiple active deals simultaneously

·        Strong lead management and nurturing skills

·        Strong phone presence and confidence speaking with borrowers daily

·        Motivated, polished, and growth-oriented mindset

·        Ability to identify qualified borrowers early and structure deals effectively

·        Mortgage, real estate, hard money, or investor lending experience preferred but not required

·        Familiarity with hard money loan structuring and the lending process is highly valued

·        Experience with Mortgage Automator LOS, Zoho CRM, Google G Suite, or similar systems is a plus
