We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking, and energetic individual to join our team as an Interior Designer!
Job Responsibilities:
The Interior Designer / Selection Coordinator will work closely with clients, sub-contractors, and our internal team to guide all interior and exterior material selections. This role requires exceptional organization, strong design sensibility, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining clear documentation and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide clients through all finish and material selections (flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware, paint, and more)
- Develop cohesive design concepts and mood boards aligned with project vision and budget
- Create and maintain detailed selection schedules, specifications, and documentation for construction teams and vendors
- Coordinate with project manager, and subcontractors to ensure selections are properly communicated and executed
- Manage selection deadlines to keep projects on schedule
- Source products, request pricing, and assist with budgeting and value engineering when needed
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for each project
- Attend client meetings, showroom visits, and job site walkthroughs as required
- Curate design room in office with fresh materials to keep up with current design trends
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in residential interior design, preferably in custom homes or luxury residential
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail (this is critical)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of high-end materials, finishes, and vendors
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative team-oriented attitude
