A nationally respected law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney to join its thriving intellectual property litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with substantial patent litigation experience who are interested in representing innovative companies in complex technology disputes involving some of the most advanced industries and emerging technologies.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients, partners, technical experts, and litigation teams on high-stakes intellectual property disputes. Attorneys will receive significant responsibility, courtroom exposure, and opportunities to handle sophisticated patent litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and execute all phases of intellectual property litigation matters.
• Handle sophisticated patent litigation involving advanced technologies and innovative products.
• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with clients, technical experts, and legal teams.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal memoranda.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Analyze technical issues and coordinate with expert witnesses.
• Manage discovery, document review, and case development activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support complex litigation matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic legal counsel.
• Assist in evaluating litigation risks, settlement opportunities, and trial strategies.

Qualifications
• 3–7 years of intellectual property litigation experience.
• Significant patent litigation experience preferred.
• Experience gained at a leading law firm with a focus on IP litigation.
• Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Experience managing complex litigation matters and competing deadlines.
• Strong legal research and case strategy development capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction required.
