A prestigious and globally recognized law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including trademark prosecution, IP transactions, and enforcement litigation.
This partner-track position is ideal for attorneys who want to develop a well-rounded IP practice, combining strategic counseling, transactional work, and dispute resolution while working with a diverse client base across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and prosecute domestic and international trademark applications
• Conduct trademark clearance searches and respond to office actions
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing and commercial agreements
• Advise clients on intellectual property strategy, portfolio development, and risk management
• Represent clients in trademark opposition, cancellation, and infringement proceedings
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
• Support enforcement of IP rights and defend against infringement claims

Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Intellectual Property Attorney or Trademark Attorney
• Strong experience in trademark prosecution, IP transactions, and litigation
• Admission to the California Bar required
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior law firm or in-house experience preferred
