Job Title: Integration/Electronics Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Integration/Electronics Technician responsible for assembling self-driving vehicles and their sub-assemblies. You will work within the Manufacturing Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute to the creation of build documentation. Training sessions are provided through on-the-job mentorship or a traditional classroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble cutting-edge self-driving vehicles and their intricate sub-assemblies.
  • Uphold rigorous safety standards to contribute to a secure and productive work environment.
  • Meet internal deadlines while working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our manufacturing processes.
  • Assist with the assembly of wire harnesses following provided work instructions, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Perform basic wiring tasks including cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, and routing wires.
  • Support installation of wire harnesses into vehicles or system assemblies.
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure workmanship and quality standards are met.
  • Use basic hand tools and test equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers.
  • Identify and report defects, damage, or discrepancies to sr. technicians or supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and procedural guidelines.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in hardware, assembly, and electromechanical systems.
  • Wire Harness Assembly Experience Preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical trade school or other educational equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 or standardized process environments.
  • IPC training and certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/7721.
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing certification (GD&T).

Additional Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in technical trade school or other educational equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 or standardized process environments is preferred.
  • IPC training and certification, or equivalent experience.
  • IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/7721.
  • GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing certification).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
