Job Title: Integration Engineering Technician III

Duration: 6 Months Contract with possible extension

Location: Kent, WA


Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture, assemble, and test custom machine hardware according to written procedures, engineering models, work orders, drawings, and specifications
  • Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment
  • Perform second-party verifications and hardware inspections of engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control
  • Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment
  • Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, height gauges, and optical measuring instruments
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, test procedures and P&IDs
  • Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around critical hardware
  • Experience using common assembly and integration tools
  • Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas
  • Work at heights on work stands and in lifts.
  • Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 40lbs
  • Experience with verbal and written communication of technical data, results, and associated tools (confluence, MS-Office suite)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


Desired:

  • Industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related field
  • Work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities
  • Experience in handling large/expensive components
  • Experience in assembling large tight-tolerance structures
  • Experience in new product introduction
  • Experience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment
