What you will doVolvo Financial Services’ Insurance Sales Specialists serve a critical function within the organization: supporting the Sales function by educating and transacting consultatively with Truck and Construction Equipment insurance buyers and key influencers to help them optimize their insurance programs efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively. Insurance Sales Specialists make customers and dealers aware of both traditional and new products and services, guide them in assembling complete underwriting information to enable expedient quotes, explain product and service benefits, and ensure thoroughness of coverage. Just as importantly, Insurance Sales Specialists develop collaborative relationships with prospects, customers, and stakeholders across the Volvo Group that will make positive and lasting impacts on their businesses and prosperity.
This position supports the sales team and reports to the Manager Insurance Sales and will be located at Volvo Financial Services’ US Headquarters in Greensboro, NC.
Responsibilities:
Support the sales team's development of new and expansion of existing Volvo Truck customer accounts, as well as targeted Mack Truck and Volvo Construction Equipment customer accounts, to build up the insurance sales portfolio. Coordinate and conduct insurance and related training sessions for dealer and VFS personnel. Deliver insurance services, policies, and procedures in accordance with company business standards. Maintain compliance with all insurance and company regulatory requirements.

Education/Certifications:
• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Advanced insurance designations, such as CPCU, CIC, ARM, etc. are a plus.
• Current P&C license with the ability to become licensed in non-resident states as needed.
• Life, Accident & Health licensure is a plus.
Expereince:
• Proven experience (2+ years) in commercial insurance; trucking insurance and/or construction equipment insurance experience a plus.
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers to bring forth complete commercial lines P&C insurance solutions.
• Proven experience in sales and in building and maintaining a book of commercial lines insurance business.
Skills Required:
• Ability to interact effectively with small and large accounts and comfortable working with commercial insurance buyers and influencers.
• Confidence and comfort with making phone calls to numerous customers each day.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills supported by strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective presentation and consultation skills, which enable you to earn trusted advisor status with customers.
• Proven problem-solving and customer service skills, which result in earning customer trust.
• Strong organizational and planning skills for building a sales plan and being successful in executing on it to achieve the targets.
• High level of integrity with a positive customer and quality focus. Cross-functional team player mentality, eager to work within and in support of a matrix team environment.
• Adaptable to a fluid environment and to changing, evolving business circumstances.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $63,100.00 - $77,900.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
