Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney (Hybrid)

A well-established litigation firm in Phoenix is seeking a motivated Insurance Defense Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Take and defend depositions, including parties, witnesses, and experts
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
- Provide strategic case analysis and litigation recommendations
- Meet a 2,100 annual billable hour requirement
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Arizona Bar license (or ability to obtain promptly)
- 2+ years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Deposition and motion practice experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Strong communication and client management skills
