With over 100 seasoned attorneys and a distinguished reputation—including historic recognition as an Insurance Litigation Department of the Year—this firm has tried over 1,100 civil jury trials and managed tens of thousands of mediations.

We are seeking ten (10) dedicated Litigation Attorneys to join their insurance defense practice areas across Dallas, Austin, and Houston. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage files from intake through resolution, developing customized and comprehensive legal strategies.
  • Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and exceptional writing/briefing work.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, court appearances, and settlement/mediation conferences.
  • Collaborate closely with partners, senior litigators, and dedicated support staff on high-stakes insurance defense matters.
  • Maintain timely and professional client reporting, billing, and case updates.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas (or pending bar results for entry-level candidates).
  • 0 to 10+ years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience (All experience levels are highly encouraged to apply).
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral advocacy, and written communication skills.
  • Strong desire to actively try lawsuits and engage in courtroom environments.


Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Additional Earning Potential: A transparent billable hour bonus structure starts promptly at 2,000 hours.
