Key Responsibilities
• Represent clients in complex general liability and insurance defense litigation matters.
• Handle catastrophic injury, product liability, wrongful death, and premises liability claims.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and litigation-related filings.
• Conduct and defend depositions involving parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including written discovery requests and responses.
• Argue motions and appear before state and federal courts when appropriate.
• Participate in trial preparation and support trial teams during litigation proceedings.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy.
• Analyze legal issues and provide practical recommendations regarding case evaluation and defense approaches.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding litigation developments and case strategy.
• Manage multiple active litigation matters while ensuring compliance with deadlines and court requirements.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Experience handling insurance defense, general liability, personal injury defense, or related litigation matters preferred.
• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and litigation briefs.
• Motion practice and deposition experience preferred.
• Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously.
