We are an Award Winning Law Firm, looking to bring on an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our growing team. The role is Hybrid, full-time position. We need someone with 2+ years of insurance coverage experience. We are looking to hire ASAP.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of insurance coverage experience
- Experience in areas of insurance coverage including drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines (CGL, property, professional liability, cyber, intellectual property, etc.)
- Experience in either or both third-party or first-party claims
- Coverage analysis and writing experience
- Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions required
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on insurance coverage matters and policy interpretation
- Represent clients in litigation
- Analyze complex insurance policies and determine coverage obligations
- Defend clients against bad faith claims
- Participate in class action lawsuits involving insurance issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant case law and statutes
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters and claims professionals to resolve disputes effectively
The annual salary for this position is between 100k-140k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
