A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a highly motivated associate attorney to join its Insurance Recovery practice in Pittsburgh. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑stakes, sophisticated insurance coverage matters for policyholders across a variety of industries.
The ideal candidate brings prior experience advising and representing policyholders in complex insurance coverage disputes, including litigation and arbitration, and is eager to contribute in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Advise policyholders on insurance recovery strategies and coverage issues
- Analyze and interpret complex insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage structures
- Handle insurance coverage litigation matters, including arbitrations
- Draft persuasive written work product and communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Work both independently and collaboratively on complex matters with multiple deadlines
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Admission to a state bar (or ability to be admitted promptly)
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in insurance recovery or coverage litigation
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Professionalism, initiative, attention to detail, and a team‑oriented mindset
