This role focuses on preparing and cleaning job sites for insulation and waterproofing projects while supporting experienced crew members. You will handle a variety of construction tasks such as scraping excess insulation from joists and trusses, organizing materials, and using basic hand tools and spray foam equipment. Over time, you can grow into installing thermal insulation and spray foam insulation independently, with comprehensive on-the-job training provided.
Responsibilities
You will join a team that invests in your growth, provides strong support, and values long-term careers. The company offers paid drive time from the moment you leave the shop until you return, and covers hotel costs plus a daily per diem when overnight travel is required. You will work with high-quality equipment, benefit from a solid and stable customer base, and be surrounded by experienced problem solvers who are committed to teaching and helping you advance. The culture emphasizes teamwork, learning, and longevity, creating an environment where motivated individuals can build a rewarding career.
Work Environment
Work takes place on commercial construction and renovation sites, including hospitals, schools, universities, office buildings, stadiums, and other large facilities that are typically vacant or under construction. You will be part of a crew of 3–4 people paired with a supervisor, working with modern insulation equipment, including hoses connected to 55-gallon drums of spray foam, as well as standard construction tools such as hammers and drills. The role involves physical labor, working at various heights, and adhering to strict safety practices, including wearing a respirator while handling spray foam materials. Projects may require travel to sites outside the immediate area, with occasional overnight stays. The environment is hands-on, fast-paced, and team-oriented, with a focus on safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
