Responsibilities
· Program PLC and HMI systems
· Design and build control panels to UL standards
· Document panels and systems using AutoCAD
· Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC based control systems and HMI’s
· Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial instrumentation
· Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial motor controls and VFD’s
· Install and terminate I/O wiring, cables, fiber optics, and communications cabling
Requirements & Qualifications
· Job requires travel- travel can be significant at times
· Must be a journeyman electrician or have a degree in instrumentation
· Must have experience with VFD’s
· Must be Proficient with computers, Windows, and communications
· Must be capable of working productively with minimal supervision
· Must be in good physical condition- work can be demanding at times
· Must be capable of adjusting to customer’s scheduling needs with little or no notice
· Must have strong communication skills
