Our organization is growing, and we are looking to add a Full-time Instructional Designer to our talented team. This role includes a variety of work dependent on client needs. This person will consult with our clients to understand the problem they are trying to solve and specific learning objectives that need to be met. From there, training experiences will be developed in one of a variety of modalities. These training experiences could be Virtual Reality, eLearning and more. The ideal candidate will have expertise in adult learning, and experience with technical writing is a plus!
We are located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. This role will work a hybrid schedule: 3 days in our Chagrin Falls, Ohio office and 2 days WFH.

Requirements for this position:
Deep understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them
Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to translate complicated information/processes into engaging training material
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Experience Consulting with clients
Proficient in Articulate Storyline and Rise (at least 2 years’ experience)
Graphic design knowledge and skills
Experience completing a project from various starting points
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Responsibilities for this position will vary from project to project but may include:
Consulting with our clients to find the best learning solutions
Creating flowcharts and scripting for Virtual Reality courses
Developing storyboard/scripts for eLearning courses
Developing courses in Storyline 360/Rise utilizing existing or new storyboards
Creating complex interactions in eLearning modules
Creating Instructor-Led or Virtual Instructor-Led materials including Facilitator Guide, Participant Guide, and additional materials
