We are seeking a Temporary Instructional Designer to support the review and design of curriculum used in Seattle City Light’s Apprenticeship programs. This role focuses on reviewing, refining, and standardizing existing technical training materials so they are consistent, easy to use, and instructionally aligned, while also developing course materials for adaptive skills training that support apprentices’ broader professional growth.
The ideal candidate will be collaborative, detail-oriented, and skilled in developing training materials that align with adult learning principles and safety-critical work environments.
This temporary position will work closely with journey-level craft instructors, subject matter experts, and apprenticeship program leadership.

The full salary range for this position is $47.39 to $55.19 per hour.
