American Board is seeking a sharp, driven Instructional Design and Curriculum Alignment Specialist to join our growing team. This is not a passive curriculum role. It is a hands-on, high-ownership position for someone who wants to carve out a meaningful place in a fast-moving education organization.

Note: This is a full-time, in-office position at American Board's headquarters in Atlanta, GA (near the Emory campus). Remote work is not available.
American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (American Board) serves career changers who want to become teachers by providing an accessible pathway to teacher certification.
Currently operating in 16 states, our team develops rigorous study materials, assessments, and certification programs designed to prepare teacher candidates to succeed in the classroom.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the academic integrity of American Board’s certification program. This includes aligning course materials with national and state standards, incorporating best practices in instruction, supporting exam development and revisions, and ensuring that teacher candidates are prepared to succeed in the classroom.
This role requires a deep understanding of curriculum design, assessment, and instruction, as well as the ability to collaborate with multiple teams. This role requires someone who can do the work and speak to the work. You will be expected to develop deep familiarity with our content, participate in state review processes, and serve as a credible voice for our program's design and integrity.
Job Types: Full-time, Salary
Pay: $65,000-$85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
