JOB SUMMARY: Support daily operations and classroom activities in a pathways program, ensuring smooth workflows across multiple spaces. Responsibilities include inventory management, lab setup, and equipment maintenance. Instruct students on machinery use, perform clerical tasks, and collaborate with staff and administration for outreach and after-hours programming.

Job Task Descriptions Frequency Percentage of Time 1. Provide instructional support by overseeing small groups of students, offering additional guidance on the safe and appropriate use of machinery, reinforcing classroom learning objectives, promote skill development, encourage academic progress, and assist with classroom operations such as preparing instructional materials, setting up the labs, administering make‑up assessments, and managing daily logistics to ensure an organized and effective learning experience. Daily 30% 2. Supports the daily operation of both the Aerospace Technician Pathway and Automation, Robotics, and Mechatronics Pathway, by setting up classroom spaces, calibrating and maintaining equipment, and coordinating the organization, setup, and teardown of course projects across the program. Daily 30% 3. Perform basic clerical work for the classroom teacher, including typing, filing, duplicating, taking inventory, scheduling repairs, calibration, and maintenance, data entry, laminating, ordering supplies, placing phone calls, materials distribution, and light bookkeeping. Daily 10% 4. Support the set up and implementation of new lab equipment for classroom projects and curriculum. Daily 10% 5. Help manage and inventory shop tools and all ancillary equipment, preparing materials and tools for student use. Daily 5% 6. Assist management of various pathway budgets, including maintenance and coordination with teaching staff for purchases of machine tools, shop equipment and consumable supplies. Daily 5% 7. Coordinate with evening programming instructors to ensure smooth flow of primary classes and support of after hour programs. Daily 5% 13. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
