Job Title: Installer Helper

Job Description

This entry-level Installer Helper role supports the installation and service of beverage machines commonly found in gas stations, restaurants, movie theaters, and similar locations. You work on a first-shift schedule and split your time between a warehouse environment and field job sites, assisting experienced service and installation technicians with assembly, setup, and general labor tasks. This is a seasonal position running from April through October, offering valuable hands-on experience that can lead to future opportunities in field service and installation work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist service and installation technicians at customer job sites by fetching tools, carrying equipment, and supporting installation and service tasks.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to help with the assembly, installation, and servicing of machines.
  • Perform general assembly work in the warehouse, including preparing equipment and components for installation.
  • Carry out general warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, putting away parts and equipment, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Help clean up job sites after work is completed, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and work areas are left tidy.
  • Follow safety procedures in both warehouse and field environments while handling tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Support the team with any additional general labor tasks as needed to ensure installations and service calls run smoothly.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools and equipment safely.
  • Experience or comfort working in a warehouse, production, or general labor environment.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Physical ability to carry heavy equipment and perform manual labor throughout the workday.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed.
  • Reliability to work a consistent first-shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Work Environment

You work primarily on first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., splitting your time between a warehouse and various customer job sites such as restaurants, gas stations, and movie theaters. In the warehouse, you handle general labor, assembly, and organizing tasks in a production-style setting. In the field, you accompany technicians to active job sites where you help install and service equipment using hand tools and power tools. The role involves physical work, including lifting and carrying equipment, moving materials, and standing for extended periods in a mix of indoor commercial environments and warehouse conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
