Job Title: Inspector/Packer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as an inspector/packer on the first, second, and third shifts. In this role, you will inspect finished plastic parts to ensure they meet quality standards, work collaboratively in teams, and pack products according to job specifications. Your responsibilities include operating grinders, changing plastic rolls, and maintaining a clean and safe work area, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect finished plastic parts to ensure they meet customer quality standards.
  • Identify and remove defective or non-conforming parts.
  • Pack, label, and seal finished products according to job order specifications.
  • Read and understand job orders and packing instructions.
  • Operate grinders to remove scrap material when necessary.
  • Change plastic rolls as needed to maintain production flow.
  • Communicate quality or machine concerns to supervisors or appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

  • Experience working in plastic manufacturing.
  • Plastic extrusion experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • General production, general labor, production.
  • Cleanroom, packaging, inspection, packing.
  • Machine operating.

Work Environment

The work environment is extremely clean, well-lit, air-conditioned, and equipped with modern machinery. Employees should be comfortable on their feet for 8 hours a day and occasionally work at heights. The facility adheres to GMP standards.

Shift Hours/Pay:

1st Shift: 5:45a.m - 2:00p.m. Monday - Friday

2nd Shift: 1:45p.m - 10:00 p.m Monday-Friday ($2 premium)

3rd Shift: 9:45 p.m - 6:00 a.m Sunday-Thursday ($3 premium)

-Base pay ranges from $20-29 depending upon experience and an interview

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cross Plains, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
