Description
The Inspector is responsible for performing in‑process, final, and receiving inspection of machined and assembled aerospace components to ensure conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role supports AUSCO’s AS9100‑compliant manufacturing environment and works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.Perform in‑process, final, and receiving inspectionsInspect machined parts, sub‑assemblies, and finished assembliesRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&TUse precision measurement equipment:CalipersMicrometersHeight gaugesPin gauges / indicatorsRecord inspection results and maintain traveler documentationIdentify, document, and report non‑conforming materialSupport First Article Inspection (FAI) activities (experience preferred)Communicate findings with Manufacturing and EngineeringMaintain inspection records per quality requirementsEnsure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100)

This is a Contract position based out of Farmingdale, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $42.90/hr.
