We are seeking an experienced Inspector to support a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing in‑process, final, and receiving inspections on machined and assembled components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The Inspector works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams in an AS9100‑compliant environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecord inspection results and maintain traveler documentation
Identify, document, and report non‑conforming material
Support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities (experience preferred)
Communicate findings with Manufacturing and Engineering
Maintain inspection records per quality requirements
Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100)

Experience in manufacturing or aerospace inspection
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T
Familiarity with tight‑tolerance precision components

CMM or vision inspection experience preferred, not required
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Farmingdale, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
