About the Role: The Inside Sales team, reporting to the Sr. Director of National Fleet Sales, plays a key role in driving Road Ranger’s growth by engaging small‑to‑mid‑size fleet operators (1–30 trucks). This team introduces customers to our proprietary Fleet Power Card, delivering discounted fuel and rewards. As we build this team from the ground up, we’re looking for driven, motivated sellers eager to grow their careers and help shape our evolving go‑to‑market strategy. The ideal candidate brings some knowledge of the trucking industry, sales experience, and strong skills in database management and Excel. Because this is a true inside‑sales role, success requires confidence on the phone, comfort making high‑volume outbound calls, and the ability to connect with potential customers who may not yet know us. Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition & Sales: Cold calling, emailing, and converting inbound leads to secure new customers for our Fleet Power Card
  • Sales Cycle Management: Managing prospects from initial contact to closing, and post-sale account management
  • CRM Utilization: Updating our CRM with customer data, sales activity, and communication records
  • Relationship Building: Developing, maintaining, and growing long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Industry/Product Knowledge: Developing an understanding of the trucking industry and how our Fleet Power Card works


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an inside sales role
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Performance Driven: Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree


Success Metrics:

  • Activity Metrics: Meets and exceeds daily calls and e-mail expectations
  • Sales Quota: Revenue generated vs. target
  • Conversion Rates: Percentage of leads turned into customers
