Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $40,689 - $53,904 Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. 

Join Our Team as a Sales Support Assistant!

Are you passionate about Inside Sales? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Inside Sales Support function. As a Sales Support Assistant you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. 

This roles supports Sales Operations and Inside Sales through the accurate processing, control, and auditing of sales orders, technical documentation and related systems information.  The position combines sales order execution, document control, order coordination, and quality assurance while partnering closely with Sales, Inside Sales Representative, and leadership teams to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely execution of customer commitments.  The roles requires strong technical aptitude, system proficiency, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and manage sales orders and related requests within Salesforce and Oracle, ensuring completeness, compliance with standards, and timely resolution of missing or unclear information. 
  • Maintain, process and audit sales and technical documentation ensuring version control, ECO alignment and adherence to established documentation standards. 
  • Perform quality checks on orders and documentation, identify errors or gaps, and support the development and maintenance of standard work to improve accuracy, consistency and efficiency. 
  • Provide basic documentation support for Sales, Inside Sales and customers, partnering cross-functionally to clarify requirements, resolve issues and support successful order fulfillment. 
  • Communicate clearly with Sales, team members, and leadership, and take ownership for assigned work to ensure commitments are met with a high level of accuracy and reliability. 
  • Perform general administrative and support tasks to alleviate workload across Inside Sales and Sales Operations. 
  • Accurately process drawing requests and documentation submittals based on customer requirements and established standards. 

     

 

What you’ll Need To Succeed:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
  • Prior experience in sales support, document control, technical support or administrative roles. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with business systems and standard office tools. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a highly transactional, deadline driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Oracle and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing with internal teams and customers.
  • Working knowledge of document control practices and centralized filed management. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accuracy and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. 

     

 

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting technical or engineered products
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, ECOs or document revision control
  • Experience in manufacturing, utility or industrial environments
