Inside Sales & Account Development Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Inside Sales & Account Development Specialist to strengthen customer relationships, re-engage inactive accounts, expand business opportunities within our existing customer base, and maintain accurate customer records within our CRM system.

The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, professional phone etiquette, excellent attention to detail, and a proven ability to build customer relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact existing and inactive customers to re-establish relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Follow up on previous quotes, inquiries, and sales opportunities.
  • Qualify leads and identify customer needs.
  • Maintain and update customer information within the CRM database.
  • Manage assigned customer accounts and develop long-term relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product and service utilization within existing accounts.
  • Conduct outbound phone and email communication with professionalism and persistence.
  • Track activities, customer interactions, and opportunities within CRM software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely follow-up.
  • Meet established activity, account growth, and retention objectives.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in inside sales, telesales, customer retention, account management, or business development.
  • Experience qualifying leads and managing customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional phone presence and active listening abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and results-driven.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
