Inside Sales Representative (Healthcare / Hospital Generics)

Base Salary: $40,000 + Commission

OTE: $60,000–$80,000+ annually | Excellent Benefits


Our client is a global leader in hospital generics committed to saving and improving patients’ lives. Due to growth, they are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their high-energy sales team!


Position Summary

Drive new business and expand existing customer relationships by selling human inhalation anesthetic pharmaceuticals to hospitals and surgery centers within an assigned territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and secure new hospital and surgery center contracts via phone and computer
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities (off-contract, non-GPO, distributor referrals)
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline updates in CRM
  • Support contract implementation at the facility level (address concerns, vaporizer placement, etc.)
  • Provide ongoing customer support and resolve account issues
  • Partner with Strategic Account Managers and internal teams to drive account growth
  • Monitor customer ordering trends and identify recovery opportunities
  • Triage customer complaints to Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams as required
  • Stay current on market conditions, competitors, and industry trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Medical Sciences, or related field)
  • Sales experience required (tele-sales/inside sales strongly preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • CRM proficiency and solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Healthcare/pharmaceutical sales experience is a plus.
