The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and relationship builder with a passion for sales, customer service, and account growth. This role is responsible for managing and growing assigned customer accounts, developing new opportunities, preparing quotations, and helping customers source critical technology products.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and grow business opportunities from company-provided leads and active prospecting efforts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Manage and grow assigned customer accounts
  • Generate and deliver daily quotations for electronic components, IT hardware, networking equipment, and related technology products
  • Follow up on open opportunities and drive sales through to completion
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and expand customer spend
  • Provide customers with product information, pricing, availability, credit terms, and order updates
  • Maintain accurate and organized customer records within company systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely order fulfillment
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance targets


Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Previous sales, account management, customer service, or business development experience preferred
  • Experience in technology distribution, electronic components, IT hardware, networking, or related industries is preferred, but not required
  • Candidates based on Long Island or within a reasonable commuting distance are preferred
