Job Summary:

Inserting Production Assistant

As a key contributor within the Inserting department, this role plays a vital part in ensuring the seamless execution of production operations. With a strong emphasis on quality control, data accuracy, and timely communication, the position supports both the department supervisor and team members to maintain high standards of performance and efficiency. From entry production data and creating job jackets to enforcing safety protocols and resolving operational issues, this role demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to adapt to dynamic production needs.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic computer and office skills.
  • Create a worksheet/Spreadsheet.
  • Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish)
  • Time management, prioritization, interpreting timelines.
  • Reading a shift schedule or project timeline.
  • Use calendars or planners to map out tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training.
