Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, the Clinical Pharmacist ensures safe, effective, and patient-centered medication therapy at St. Peter’s Health.
Review, verify, and dispense medications
Evaluate medication safety and effectiveness
Collaborate with providers to optimize patient therapy plans
Apply clinical guidelines and best practices to support care decisions
Educate patients, families, and staff on medication use
Support collaborative drug therapy protocols and administer vaccines
Precept pharmacy residents and students
Participate in interdisciplinary teams and document clinical interventions
